Women’s Running blogger on the run

Hi guys! Just popping in quickly today. Believe it or not, I have a couple fun posts planned in the next few weeks, including how I’m balancing working full-time, caring for Wyatt, and running. Yup, I made my return to the corporate world this month and so far it’s going well!

What’s not going well? My attempts to run in 21 degree weather. How do you northern folk do it?!

Women’s Running was nice enough to ask me to be their “Blogger on the Run” this week. I’ve been reading Women’s Running since the magazine came out and feel honored to be featured.

Blogger-On-The-Run

You can check out the feature here and if you leave a comment, you’ll be entered to win a one-year subscription to Women’s Running. Cool, huh?

Thanks so much to Women’s Running and a huge thank you to you guys for reading my blog!

  1. Congrats on the Blogger on the Run!!! And congrats on getting back to work. You will learn to be a much stronger woman as you balance being a mom, runner, and employee. Take care!!!

  2. Congrats on Blogger on the Run and new job! It’s nice to see you back from time to time. Understand the need to be away for awhile. You have to take care of you and homelife first!! I found your blog via Caitlin at HTP way back when you found out your were pregnant :) Embarrassed to say this is the first time I have posted…you really helped me understand my sister’s struggle with PCOS, infertility, endo, etc. and helped me become a better runner. Speaking of running, it’s -15 in WI today (real temp, not including windchill), so definitely no running outside..for a while! Thanks for what you do!

  3. Congrats on Blogger on the Run!!! And 21 would be a heat wave run up here right now in Wisconsin ;) -21 is when things get messy up here – ha!

  4. Great article!!! And best of luck with returning to work – I know it’s hard to balance it all. As a full-time working mom, I would love a future blog post on work/life/exercise balance!

  5. So excited to see you as the Blogger on the Run today – I absolutely LOVE that magazine! Best of luck in returning to work. It is not easy, but it can be done, and I tell people at work all the time… if running is important to you, you will make time for it one way or another! (I trained for my first marathon last summer working full time with two kids and a husband that travels for work!) Love your blog, can’t wait to read more from you!

  6. woo hoo congrats friend!

  7. Congrats on being featured in the magazine. Very cool!

  8. Congratulations on your article in Blogger on the Run and being an example of how to fit all of life’s things together!
Here is a link to a blog I came across of a lady who went running when it was 5 degrees outside–she went running 14 miles on a frozen lake! Thought you might like to read it to inspire your cold weather training and see pictures of what she wore (along with spiked running shoes so she wouldn’t slip.)

  9. Just found your blog through Runningwithsass :) Congrats on the feature in the magazine!

  10. Congratulations on being chosen as blogger on the run! As a full time working mother myself it is hard to find balance all of the time and it’s nice to see you “rolling with the puches” life throws at you.
